Dedication 4... mooore Wayne

I'm not a fan of Lil Wayne, but regardless, he is a talented artist who is doing SOMEthing right cause he gets paid. Well he's got a new mixtape out with Drama and as I'm listening to it now, the first track has me entertained.

Entitled "Put Me in the Game", it's an over-the-top tall-tale with vivid 'EA Big' style imagery that got me a little pumped. I didn't even know any of the name drops, not being a fan of football myself, but aside from the terrible hook the song was decent.

The day I was birthed!

Guess what today is... my birthday. In celebration I've decided to get my ish together and do some hw!! yeay!!

But in all honesty I'm amazed at how many people have taken time out of their day to wish me well, and it's been pretty dope.

Really I'm just putting my homework off so I'll make this worth while... have fun

Ya me neither. But I did happen across this song "super friends". It's got a few good artists on it (Mickey Factz, Homeboy Sandman, Strictly Buisness Outasight, 6th Sense, Oddisee, Von Pea, 8th W1 & Fresh Daily) idk, you may have heard of a view.

Ok ok i can't keep it up, THIS TRACK IS SO LIVE. To me, it's like the truest of real hip hop, boastful self promotion based around lyricism not materialism. I can't get enough of it. Chiggity check it.

Love the hundreds. Absolutely love em. This new collab for me at least really just puts me on rock. Disney's teamed up with TH to do some shirts an hats featuring none other than the lost boys from Peter Pan. The lost boys really embody the skate, music and design culture of my generation as the man-child is now a lifestyle that can actually be achieved, just take a look at kanye. CHECK this lil promo vid for some details and keep your eyes peeled for the shirts cause I know they'll be hot and hard to find. Only time will tell if I'll be able to get my grubby mits on one or two.

The Fear

Lily Allen's killing it with her new single The Fear. I've always liked her ish, witty and intelligent witha bit of edge her new album "It's Not Me It's You" drops Feb. 9th and who's got two thumbs and is copping it? This guy.

Maybe it because I've been writing a paper with a focus on the commodity fetishism that's ingrained in our culture nowadays but this single really got me feeling better about humanity, at least popular opinion is beginning to swing and people are recognizing how ass backwards things have gotten.
